A block of hotel rooms has been reserved at the Hyatt Place, Jacksonville Airport for a discounted rate of $85 per night. All rooms have a fold out sofa included, there is shuttle service from the nearby Jacksonville Airport, and most importantly, they serve Starbucks.

Transportation…
For a multitude of reasons, it was important to us to be able to provide transportation from the hotel to the site and back, so please indicate in your RSVP if you will be taking advantage of this so we can plan accordingly. The hope is that this will make life easier for out of town guests without cars, and make sure everyone gets back to the hotel safely. There will be one return trip earlier in the evening, and one at the end of the night. If you would like to drive, directions will be provided.
Weather…
The Hootenanny will be an outdoor event (as all Hootenannies should be), unless Mother Nature intervenes, in which case we will all get cozy in one of the historic houses on the property of this lovely site. Since it is outdoors, you may want to rethink the satin stilettos and opt for those awesome ballet flats you found at Target (this advice is for the women only- guys, feel free to wear your stilettos). Average temp from previous years is 70 degrees, high of 81, low of 58.
Welcome Dinner...
We'd love to see everyone that is in town on Friday, April 29th at a welcome dinner. Please let us know in your RSVP if you'll be able to join us. The dinner is barbeque and will be at 7 o'clock, the hotel shuttle will be available so no transportation will be necessary.
